@ChemsYouTube Let me guess. Your course probably involves chatgpt, view and sub bottling, fiverr editors, and making clickbait videos. If you do this, you will probably make a few dollars a day vs working at McDonald’s for a few hours making $50 per day.

YouTube Automation is the best opportunity to get rich in 2023. It made me almost $2M last year. Here's how it works:

@theroborourke @AliAbdaal Yes this ⬆️ Many creators maintain a facade of “it’s all vibes, man” and never talk about the business side of what they do. So when they begin monetizing, it comes as a big shock to their audience.

I think a lot can come down to the follower relationship with the creator. Some creators way overplay the “we are one big family forever” angle and then see massive backlash when they go to sell later. Other creators are still friendly but it’s clear its a business too. No backlash.

Why is it that when some people release an online course, their audience broadly says “cool” but when others release an online course, their audience broadly says “scam”? Been thinking about this recently, here are some malformed thoughts

5. Workflow.✅ It still amazes me that a lot of creators don't have a workflow. Start an easy to follow Trello board, invite EVERY team member and require them to update it when their work is done. Simple organisation like this will save you so much stress.

@robertoblake It’s also interesting to see that many big YouTubers got their first break on TV. And parlayed that into a YouTube career. I think that’s also under discussed.

A lot of the biggest YouTubers got their start a Buzzfeed… Even YouTube stars you still know today who are relevant. I feel like nobody brings that up, ever…

@RileyCardwell Guilty as charged. 😅 In my defense, recruiting for good talent has been really difficult. Even with many layers of vetting via job applications, test projects etc.

If you’re a YouTuber that: - does ideas - edits the video - creates content - designs thumbnail - manages the channel You’re losing, slowly You must focus on one Then outsource the rest It’s the only way to get ahead

@ADCARTATTACK I kind of enjoy that they made Daniel so annoying in this series and keep calling out the fact that he was kind of a dick in the movies too lol. It’s made me look at the movies totally differently!

Cobras Kai is how you do Sequals right. It had some seriously annoying and Shakes moments. But as a whole, it's a great series and rounds off Karate Kid perfectly! Even if Daniel is suuuuuuuuuper annoying.

@BrianClark @robertoblake @jayclouse I think true edutainment may be the hardest format of all, at least on YouTube - in terms of achieving serious scale and mass appeal. Mark Rober does it well. Veritasium too. But they’re few and far between.
