Report from Houston after the Socceroos finished their post-Venezuela recovery session. A couple of players absent from the main group while, after a disappointing defeat, thoughts in the camp turn towards next Tuesday’s game against Colombia in New York.

You still remember where you were that night. For my uncle, Brendan, he was behind the lens that captured this and it became one of the most famous pictures in Aus sports history. Of all the stories from that night his is still the best, to me anyway. Happy November 16.

This is top and is much needed for the league. The powers above and clubs, you need turn these guys into fans that come week in/week out Our best is unbelievable in the league, but the worst is bad. Positive way to end the season and I’m sure the ratings will be 👌🏼

Nah, what Arthur Diles has done at @gomvfc is crazy 🔥🤯 After replacing Patrick Kisnorbo mid-season, he was winless in his first 6 games. Now, he’s going to the GRAND FINAL. He’s been a professional head coach for 114 days. Incredible.

#ICYMI A Socceroo on the scoresheet in South Korea 🇰🇷🇦🇺 Great to see Australia international John Iredale find the back of the net over the weekend for his Seoul E-Land FC side in the K League 2 competition! 👍 The 25-year-old forward played 90 minutes and scored his 6th goal of the season as Seoul E-Land claimed all three points in an away win over Gimpo FC. The win sees Seoul E-Land sit in fourth position on the competition ladder. #FPFootball #AussiesAbroad 📸: sourced from John Iredale Instagram

It’s a start. Don’t mind the name. Looking forward to this (hopefully) being a big success, a precursor to a full H/A NST…and ultimately, a properly connected pyramid.
