Coaches getting fired is normal. Their employer doesn’t see them as jokes cos of that. Potter , Lampard , Gerrard are all examples . They all got better pay than their jobs prior to the “big club”. Long term, it won’t matter.

@topnotchmagic @MarkOgden_ Fair enough. I think we see short vs long term plays a little differently and that’s ok. I wouldn’t take 2-3x my annual pay now to become the joke of my industry.
And no, I don’t think anyone reasonable is hiring him soon top level with big pay.

That’s what he would have earned in 2-4 years at his old job.
Also, his next job would be better pay than his old job and better pay than he would have commanded if he doesn’t have Chelsea on his resume .
