In the two years that I’ve been taking
forecasting seriously, I don’t think I have ever disagreed with the SPC more on an outlook.
I hold the SPC in very high regard, and I never think I have a better forecast than they do so, please look to them for outlooks, however… 🧵🪡

I'll be putting out a video tonight rebutting the "isolated tornado" framing that keeps getting attached to Thursday's Middle East setup. The data does not support "isolated." I'll be breaking down why this is a significant-to-violent tornado environment and why the Gulf deserves the same urgency we'd give the Plains. Stay tuned.
