I did my homework. When Elon and Tesla give me the thumbs up, I’m going all in to own my own fleet of Tesla Robotaxis. Owning your own Tesla Robotaxi fleet could become one of the most powerful cash flow generating assets ever available to everyday investors. A $30,000 Cybercab could generate roughly $58,500 in annual revenue and around $19,800 in net income after Tesla’s fee and operating expenses. At that rate, a fleet of 50 vehicles could produce approximately $1 million in annual net income, requiring about $1.5 million in vehicle capital. To generate the same income from Bay Area rentals, you would need around 50 homes with a combined value of roughly $75 million, and leveraged cash flow could still be negative fyi. That is the power of autonomy… one vehicle can operate for most of the day, serve thousands of customers, relocate to stronger markets, and scale without needing tenants, mortgages, or decades of appreciation. However, the trade-off is risk. Private-owner access is not broadly available yet, and the final economics will depend on utilization, regulation, insurance, operating costs, and Tesla’s Network fee. But if Tesla delivers the technology and opens the Robotaxi network to owners, Robotaxi fleets could become one of the most capital-efficient ways to generate serious cash flow. In “Human Action”, Ludwig von Mises explains that while the Soviets nationalized everything outright, the Nazis used the “German pattern”, leaving the paperwork of ownership alone while seizing every decision that ownership is supposed to mean. Under Hitler, the State told owners what to produce, how much, at what price, and where to sell it. Entrepreneurs became shop managers, Betriebsführer, executing someone else’s orders. The 1936 Four Year Plan under Göring centralized labor, wages, raw materials, and investment, and price controls froze the entire economy so nothing could legally rise. Cartels were mandatory and those who refused faced expropriation. Once the state controls production, prices, quantity, and hiring, the title on the building means nothing. It’s all socialism.

LoL The US Army most certainly does NOT have a robust amphibious landing capability. The Gaza pier debacle proved that in front of the entire world. General Milley & @MarkTEsper auctioned off most of the Army’s watercraft fleet, and their successors let the prepositioning contracts lapse. Two decades of sealift muscle sold at government auction prices. The Army Corps of Engineers has been hollowed into a contract administration agency. It manages third parties. It does not build or fight. The Key Bridge in Baltimore still isn’t fully cleared years later! The supporting capabilities went the same way: dredging, 88H cargo specialists, JLOTS. All quietly defunded, because nobody in the building fights for a capability that isn’t billing hours. It isn’t just active duty. Reserve and Guard formations, including the Puerto Rico National Guard units that put armed teams aboard Merchant Marine ships and secured port infrastructure, have been abandoned outright. The Seabees can’t fill the gap. They are a shell of what they were. Close air support for a beach landing? The A-10 fleet is being retired, and nothing replaces what it did over a contested shoreline. Naval gunfire support? The 5-inch popgun on a destroyer is not the 16-inch battery that supported Desert Storm, it’s not even the 8-inch guns we retired before that. We forgot that a beachhead needs volume. Each destroyer carries fewer than 100 VLS cells, and most of those will hold air defense interceptors, not Tomahawks. A magazine is a choice: shoot down the threat or shape the beach. You don’t get both. And we don’t have enough destroyers to escort the sealift ships in, let alone support the landing once they arrive. Fireboats and rescue and salvage ships to fight fires and patch drone damage on the unarmed merchant ships doing the actual hauling? Don’t have them. A cheap drone puts a small hole in a hull and there is nobody in theater to save the ship. Heavy lift ships and floating drydocks for emergency repairs forward? Nope. The damaged ship limps home or becomes a reef. Hospital ships for mass casualties? Two. Both over half a century old. Fuel? We closed Red Hill. A quarter billion gallons of hardened storage sitting directly astride the Pacific fight, drained and shut because the Navy poisoned its own drinking water and then could not be trusted to fix it. We never replaced that capacity. Mariners to sail? We are short roughly 1,800 qualified U.S. mariners for sustained sealift, and that assumes every one shows up. Hormuz proves foreign crews will not sail into fire. Foreign-flag charter is a peacetime convenience that evaporates when the shooting starts. The ships themselves? The last full-scale Ready Reserve Fleet stress test put 33 of 61 hulls to sea and roughly 40 percent made the standard. Median hull age near fifty, some still steam, crewed by men who learned those plants from men now dead. The last time we even tried to drill them was before COVID. This is not the Army that put half a million men ashore in Saudi Arabia in 1990, when we still had the ships, the mariners, the gun line, the yards, and a merchant fleet that could carry a war. Hell, It is not even the Army of 2003, which had to beg foreign ships to come help. What is left is an inventory maintained on paper by people who have never loaded a ship near a beachhead under fire, and who assume the next war will grant them the six months of uncontested buildup the last two did. It will not. None of this requires a technological miracle. It requires ships, mariners, yards, and someone in authority willing to say out loud that the emperor of the US Army has no landing craft.

DeSantis doesn’t get nearly enough credit for getting the big Covid stuff right while he was consistently being smeared for taking those positions. The attacks Florida took for reopening schools were particularly indefensible and simply meant to provide cover for the states doing the wrong thing and the left-wing unions demanding those closures.

Very true, but we can’t argue that Biden being senile or autopen pardons are invalid and that he has no fifth amendment protection due to the pardon at the same time. We need to pick a lane. Rand Paul was spot on by deliberately limiting the questions to the period covered by the pardon. Congressional immunity for the same period would be even more helpful. It’s still unlikely to end well, but at least he got dragged in public.

Okay, this is part of Fifth Amendment law that is not as well known. A person who has received a pardon cannot invoke the Fifth for testimony about events involved in the pardon since there is no danger of self incrimination.
