We just smashed our highest AUM and monthly spend ever at @usemotocard. Feeling grateful for the founder's journey, all the ups and downs, and more than anything, the early angels and VCs that believed in me and my team. Thank you to our users, we're just getting started.

@TapSatoshi @tannsmd @ready_co To withdraw your money out of ready card you have to send it to a starknet address (ready x app) and then to bridge its 2.35%. Technically it’s a bridge fee but technically you’re forcing me out. It should be sponsored just like the bridge in. I shouldn’t pay to be kicked out

Ready (@ready_co) still hasn't returned membership fees to their clients. Recently, Ready shut down all cards for users outside the EEA due to issues with their card partner. They sent an email to all clients stating that all cards would be deactivated in just ONE HOUR. In that same email, they promised to refund membership purchases, but they still haven't published any official details on how or when this will happen. Their Discord server is now read-only, and the community managers are silent. No one knows what happens next or what steps the company is taking to make their clients whole. Is this just a complicated operational process, or are we witnessing another crypto exit scam where the platform just runs off with everyone’s money?
TapSatoshi@TapSatoshi

Ready (@ready_co) is closing all its cards for users outside the EEA. But the funniest part is that they are closing the cards in just ONE HOUR. I have been familiar with Ready since 2025. I opened my account that same year. I was one of the first users who caught the transition from Argent to Ready. I remember that I really liked that card. The card had my favorite core feature: a true 0% FX rate. The most disappointing thing is that, since 2025, the company has been feeding people promises that they would add Apple Pay support, but instead, they spent months adding useless things like a "Rewards" section, which is essentially terrible compared to other crypto cards, and they even changed the FX rate on the Lite card from 0% to 1%, all while failing to add the most important feature. I remember back in February, it infuriated me that they kept feeding me excuses for months about one seemingly simple thing, so I just moved to another platform. Now I see that I made the right choice. Because if a company cannot add one simple thing, and on top of that, decides to inform users just ONE HOUR before blocking their cards that they will simply be left without the ability to pay for anything and have to look for another way - that is a terrible attitude. I really loved the concept of Ready, but after actions like this - adding a terrible "Rewards" section and a 1% FX rate - I will think twice before using them again, if the opportunity ever arises.

@ready_co @TapSatoshi And now you charge affected users 2.3% to withdraw their funds. And not even sponsor it. What a joke

Hi @TapSatoshi, recent changes from our card issuer resulted in a much tighter timeline than we would have liked. We understand this wasn’t an ideal experience for affected users. Our priority has been reaching impacted cardholders directly and processing refunds for the remaining subscription period. While we don’t have a broader solution to announce at this time, we’re continuing to explore future options and will share updates.

After 20 hours, we still have no news regarding Ready Card. Not a single post about what happened, their plan to address the issue, or any communication with the community to clarify the situation. It’s very strange. Ready is a big platform, so they shouldn’t have trouble sending a quick message to explain what happened. @ready_co, we need your comments on this.

@tannsmd @TapSatoshi @ready_co Wow 2.3% to withdraw your own money. What a scam. I really loved this card but I hope everyone who still has it in supported region spends their balance and finds alternative

@teovito @permexpat What about grinders? That’s harder to choose? I usually do espresso or cappuccino.

depends also on what coffee you drink. A cheap method like pour over v60 often produces a better cup than a poorly used or maintained espresso machine. If you really love espresso then brands like Profitec, Rocket Espresso, Marzocco Micra make good machine options above Sage. Those are the only ones I personally used and can recommend. Prices get crazy fast.

Let’s talk coffee! I’ve been on Lavazza Crema for awhile, which I like ok, but recently picked up some French Roast breakfast blend that is much too weak for my taste. What is your favorite ground coffee available here in Dubai? I have Delonghi espresso machine if that makes a difference and prefer very strong without any crazy flavors

I just tried the Mirage app by @EthanLipnik and this is it. this is the solution. i'm going on holiday soon, and i don't want to take my macbook just in case i need to work. and i won't, i'll just leave the heavy macbook in the office, and take my light iPad, and that's it

Wait a min. It was this eaasy to use any token as gas token but we haven't had this feature due to wallets? I mean, I have been a huge supporter for @Rabby_io but cmoon, why we didn't had this for this entire time? Kudos to @ambire. This is a wallet changer feature tbh.

Saying it again: You’re better off putting the weight down, waiting ~3 minutes, and performing another set to 0-2 RIR than you are doing a drop set, rest-pause set, etc. Intensity techniques PALE IN COMPARISON to straight sets with ample rest between

Helpful cutting tips 1. You don’t need to be in a calorie deficit EVERY day If you need to eat at maintenance on your training days, reduce calories on your rest days. Focus on your weekly calorie balance, not your daily intake 2. Eat high-volume, low-calorie foods to stay full Foods like watermelon, blueberries, strawberries, Greek yogurt, lettuce, rice cakes, vegetables, etc. are all options you can eat in large amounts without consuming many calories 3. Find 4-6 meals + snacks you enjoy and eat them on repeat Meal prep foods that fit your macros so you don’t have to make decisions about what to eat every day 4. Stay hydrated and supplement electrolytes Sometimes when you feel hungry, you’re actually just thirsty. Drink at least .75 oz of water per pound of body weight daily 5. Prioritize protein at every meal Protein keeps you fuller longer and helps preserve muscle. Aim for at least 30-40 grams of protein per meal 6. Don’t change your workout plan while cutting There’s no reason to change your lifting routine just because you’re cutting. You may lose a little strength, but that doesn’t mean you need a new program 7. Avoid drinking your calories Liquid calories aren’t filling and often lead to eating more later 8. Don’t let one bad day compound If you overeat or stray from your meal plan, get right back on track the next day. Don’t let it spiral out of control
