UPDATE: Ontario has postponed its participation in the @AlertReady test on May 6, 2026 & rescheduled it to May 7, 2026. The test message will be distributed over TV, radio & compatible wireless devices. It will occur at 1:55 PM EDT. Visit alertready.ca for more info.

(1/2) Public emergency test messages will be sent out in participating provinces and territories on May 6 to help you learn what an emergency alert would look and sound like. In Ontario only, the test will now take place on May 7.

Individuals and organizations across the country, show support for Red Dress Day by wearing red or publicly displaying red dresses in remembrance of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). These displays serve as a powerful visual representation of the pain and loss felt by Survivors and the families and friends of victims. As an act of honour and remembrance, the #CaledonOPP has erected their own display to raise awareness and promote important conversation amongst our community.
