Hot take: I REALLY tried liking ‘Lost in translation’ but between mocking Japanese culture, 2 insufferable leads, the sexualisation of a 17 y/o ScarJo in the name of art house cinema and overall pointlessness of the plot, I couldn’t find a reason to. ‘Her’ is infinitely better.
