I told my boyfriend I just started my period when he asked 'can we?' and he literally wouldn’t take no for an answer. There was verbal communication that she didn't want this to happen. There was no consent. Sex where one party doesn't consent is also known as....rape.

@mistress_hypno @leshaami Rape comes in many different ways unfortunately. For you to demean and practically call a victim weak is disgusting. Blackmail or not, she was pressured. That isn't sex. Sex is not a pressured act. This is rape plain and simple. Please get some clear perspective.

If the coercion didn't include blackmail or threats, the definition would be closer to influence or pressure. The solution to that would be developing a strong sense of self and stable boundaries. Coming from a survivor, the word "rape" being throw around so casually is disgusting and insulting.

@mistress_hypno @leshaami I've experienced rape where I have been held down and I screamed. I've experienced rape where I was coerced. I've experienced rape when I was too drunk to consent. It is still rape no matter how violent. Don't negate her experience because it's not exactly like yours.

@leshaami I know reporting doesn't always lead to an outcome but at the very least his name will be flagged to authorities. If he's done this once, he will do it/ attempt to do it again. An unfortunate truth but a truth nonetheless. You need to run, Angel.

@hy_wemmy Men choose to work more than women, women literally choose to work less. To this day MOSTLY WOMEN hold the idea that "men should pay" and in truth men are now more often expecting women to pay for themselves. Women also HATE paying for themselves, or doing anything themselves.

Men literally make more money than women just for being men, so I will never feel bad for allowing them to spend their own money, especially when they’re so willing and created the whole idea that “men are supposed to pay” anyway
