Dr. Casey Means is poised to become the next Surgeon General. All that remains is her confirmation vote. The obstacle? Republican Senator Bill Cassidy is holding up the process. Sen. Cassidy has voiced opposition to key parts of the MAHA agenda, despite strong support for it among his constituents. While the process stalls, Americans are being denied a Surgeon General we all know is qualified and will thrive in the role. We urge Sen. Cassidy to move this nomination forward and allow President Trump’s pick to be confirmed so she can begin her work helping Make America Healthy Again.

All while Trump funds the Russian war machine by removing sanctions on their oil this week. If you make under $184k, you pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate. Everything after that cap is exempt from the tax. So if you make $1 million per year, you pay about 2.2%. And it's 0.002% for billionaires. If we lifted the cap, Social Security could be funded for decades.
