Burns took two club lenghts from the penalty area @TheMasters with a headcover on. Should be assessed another penalty IMO

What’s your favorite photo taken from a public road?
Little bit of an odd question, I know. But I’m curious.
Some of my own favorite shots haven’t been taken during a round, but as I’m wondering around or driving past a course.
Here are 5 of mine, starting with the Windmill at NGLA as seen from Sebonac Inlet Road.

@Top100Rick Totally agree with Lahinch. Bethpage and Erin Hills are the only other two that I can’t stop thinking about

@LinksGems 5th hole at Bethpage will always hold a special place. The more bunkers you’re willing to take on from the tee, the easier the approach. Draw off the tee is blocked but it demands one for the approach. It’s the perfect hole

A simple question for Friday night: what’s your favorite par-4?
Inspired by a few great ones I saw this week, I tried to think of the two-shot holes in the game I love the most. Here are 12 of the ones that came to mind:
The 10th at Shinnecock Hills (410yds)
The 5th at Merion (416yds)
The Punchbowl 4th at Fishers Island (397yds)
The Leven 17th at NGLA (375yds)

Well - I have made the COMPLETE jump.
ALL my putts are now hit heads up. Previously I was only putting heads up outside 15-20 feet.
For those not familiar with heads up putting, you hit the putt while looking at the hole, not the ball.
I finally got comfortable with heads up with the shorter distances and I am very pleased with how well I am hitting start lines AND controlling distance.
My distance control on the lag putts also continues to improve. I still occasionally would catch myself thinking about length of stroke, or how hard to hit it on the lag putts, but now my approach is I simply pick my spot I am aiming at, and say to myself "just play catch to the spot".
If you have not tried heads up, give it shot. Shout out to Sasho MacKenzie for his research in this area and for exposing me to this technique.
