What was your first "driving" experience? First vehicle I ever "drove" was my father's VW Caddy pickup truck, in exactly the colour of this Golf - probably about 5 or 6, sitting on his knee, steering around a muddy farm track. So these dials bring back happy memories of a distant past! His seats were much filthier though, his paintwork was shot (he once proudly said he'd never washed a farm truck), and the floors were inches deep with years of mud. He'd buy them new or nearly new, run them into the ground over a decade or so, then buy another.
