@elonmusk @ClayTravis @Twitter @nytimes I think it’s the ultimate conclusion for a subscription oriented content business. You create content your subscribers want to read… and the optimization problem takes care of itself — for the right and the left.

@ClayTravis @Twitter @nytimes That is because The New York Times has become, for all intents and purposes, an unregistered lobbying firm for far left politicians

@Jason It’s inside a supermarket… that’s like being upset with the restaurant quality at a gas station.

@elonmusk Most (all?) wars end with either a clear winner/surrender or through steps of de escalation. It doesn’t seem like a culture war will ever end like the former. And we lack good tools for the latter.

@jimcramer how long do you think high growth tech stocks will be in purgatory? Months? years? What's the signal to get back in?

About 5 million children age 5-11 now vaccinated with their first dose (nearly ~1 million with 2nd dose) and I've yet to see a case of myocarditis reported 👍

@LindsayTrombley I’d only question yourself. If you believed in the person, great opportunity to double down on better terms. If it was the idea, you misjudged the person and it’s a lesson.

@Shpigford The potential benefit for a corporation is you might have a sense of their broader strategy and how their bread gets buttered (insofar as they are public).

@Shpigford On its face, I’d argue that corporations taking a stance is really not too different from individuals taking a stance. In both cases there might be underlying and self serving motives that drive it. Or it could be altruistic.

Why do people look to corporations (or really any for-profit business of any size) to take stances on moral issues? (Honest question as I feel like I'm missing some point-of-view.)

@Shpigford Perhaps I’m reacting to the wrong part of the idea — who is the audience? If it’s retail investors / traders, I didn’t think most of them utilized folks who charged AUM and were passive about it.

@tradetechdad That's for CFP's that manage investments. They generally charge a % of assets under management. Which over 20-50 years adds up significantly.

@tradetechdad My hunch is very few people build the spreadsheet. They spend 6-7 figures paying a CFP to generally set-it-and-forget-it. And I think we can replace that.
