As a linguist I'm not supposed to have opinions about this, but Hangul is simply the most aesthetically and conceptually pleasing writing system. We should all aspire to such heights

Gulsuman, a famous Tajik folk song, where the Northern Tajik postposition -anda (< Pers. andar ‘inside’), is abundantly seen, e.g. boġanda باغنده i.e. andar bāġ اندر باغ ‘in the garden/orchard’. Speakers of Tajik dialects which don’t have this feature often joke about this, saying that you never know whether xonanda means ‘singer’ or ‘at home’. But in an -anda structure, the stress is never on the last syllable - it is where it should be on the word that -anda attaches to. So ‘at home’ is xonánda, whereas ‘singer’ is xonandá.

In a decade of studying European history, none of my classes even partially covered Scandinavia. The only exception is very random: in grad school, Paul Bushkovitch offered to do a guided readings class with me: "As a Russianist, you must know something about Sweden."
