digital art storage i strongly suggest that the largest platforms @artblocks_io @fellowshiptrust @verse_works @solos_gallery @miminguyenmimi @heft_gallery @FeralFile @TransientLabs @objktcom (yes, tezos) come together and form a consortium to establish shared best practices for digital art storage across ethereum, ipfs, arweave, and related systems. aligning on standards, redundancy, and long-term backup would materially strengthen the ecosystem. i also suggest bringing @artnome on as a consulting partner. please guys, just do this. i know some of you are ahead on this, but having standards across would make the entire ecosystem much stronger. thank you! 🤍

Petting Zoo: THUNDERBONE (2026) by @lm_netwebs Via TRANSFER Download - a traveling exhibition format that invites viewers to step inside virtual worlds. Each Download features a curatorial selection of artworks on a theme, exhibited within a three-channel interactive installation custom-designed for the exhibition. The immersive installation is controlled by a tablet display, allowing viewers to interact with the exhibition and “choose their own adventure.” TRANSFER Download was conceived in 2016 by Kelani Nichole and Harvey Moon, and has travelled to San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, Miami, Basel, and Shanghai and now at Nguyen Wahed!

Today we share previews of pieces which are part of "Notions of Home", a show presenting five contemporary digital artists invited to show new work in the Miami Design District during Miami Art Week 2024. The artists were asked to create works in dialogue with Laurie Simmons and Peter Wheelwright’s “The Kaleidoscope (..Bigger) House” installation presented by @dminti_io x @icamiami. Below: "Am I the Machine? Am I the Home?" This piece by @carlagannis, in collaboration with Cleveland Adams, "is an exploration of the intimate relationship between human consciousness, technology, and domesticity through a surreal digital landscape."
