@daniel_knauf @transwidows @jk_rowling Thank you for having an open mind and taking the time to read these stories. The way in which @transwidows have been treated is appalling. Every on of us has experienced the very worst side of men and have been ridiculed for simply being normal in this insane world.

Whilst I understand the detriment to Beira’s Place is real, and focussing on @jk_rowling get clicks it’s a shame that mainstream press coverage of the Amnesty debacle is not also focussing on us smaller groups listed who do not have the same power or influence to defend ourselves

@transwidows @jk_rowling you are right, to stand up against being defamed is something you guys wouldn't do - get your stuff together and stop harassing the efforts of Ms. Rowling.

@transwidows @jk_rowling He makes it obvious why you would all want to be anonymous. It also just makes him sound like a complete twat.

@transwidows @jk_rowling His post is vile. If the media would cover the stories of women and children whose husbands/fathers announce they are women, everyone would understand very clearly why many are so reluctant to speak in public.

Another dreadful, sexist word - 'feisty'. Never heard a man described as 'feisty'.

@zaxerygonzales @jk_rowling Richards stole his sister’s clothes and hid them under the floorboards. He was a secret erotic crossdresser for decades before going public when nearly sixty. He had also run secret venues for other erotic crossdressers to enjoy their habit. He had been ‘exploring this’ for years

@jk_rowling He wrote this ages ago and it was directed at me (the first part that is, not the second part, I’m not his ex wife). Bizarre that after all this time, rather than think “actually this makes me sound like a bit of a twat”, he shares it again to attempt a greater audience.

Bizarre. I thought the condition of being trans was innate and present from birth? So why are you talking about these women's husbands 'becoming trans'?

I can recommend reading the heartbreaking accounts on the Trans Widows' Voices website to gain an insight into what these women have had to endure. There is no support for them, instead they are expected to accept it, help it, support it. Monstrous.

@roseveniceallan My ex and his friends had me so terrorised and isolated, I figured that if showing my face didn't protect me, at least people would know what happened if one of the countless threats were followed through. THAT is what trans widows are very often up against. People need to know.

@transwidows @roseveniceallan Anyone who has been in a controlling relationship recognises this kind of behaviour towards partners/ex-partners. The desire to control doesn't end with the escape from the relationship.
