DAMIAN KUST 2026 WIMBLEDON QUALIFIERS' CHALLENGE (ATP) – FINAL RESULTS (END OF Q3)
Finally. 😮💨
After finishing the full brackets' corrections and all, I could finally publish the results.
First of all, thank you to our 71 entrants (67 of you, yes, that number, and 4 AIs) for participating in this edition. Still amazing to think that we got to a point where we have 70+ entrants in a Slam; thus, I'm doing something technically to ease the list corrections. It worked, needing a few refinements before I can finally expand to WTA. 👏
Anyway, for those who aren't familiar with the point system, here goes: you'll get 1 point for those who were eliminated in Q1, say that as "participation cost" or something, 2 points for those picks eliminated in Q2, 5 points if they were eliminated in Q3, and 10 points should they qualify to the main draw. In case of ties, they would be broken ESC-style: starting with who had the most players qualified, followed by who had more players standing by the end of Q2, and those who had more players standing by the end of Q1.
All right. Without further ado, here's the Top 10 of this Wimbledon edition:
🏆 @trayceeleeY 112 points
🥈 @MaxMax54827 109 points (note that he had 9 players qualified to the main draw!)
🥉 me 102 points (8 qualifiers, 10 stood by the end of Q2) (my second time since Wimby 2024, placing third in Wimby qualifiers' challenge)
4. @TidbitsTennis 102 points (8 qualifiers, 9 stood by the end of Q2)
5. @LeoLovesTennis 101 points
6. @RicardLopez123 100 points
7. @noriyuii_ 99 points
8. @NielsJens1 95 points (7 qualifiers, 10 stood by the end of Q2)
9. @4dover4 95 points (7 qualifiers, 9 stood by the end of Q2)
10. @VenusGauff 94 points (I'm honestly surprised, congrats for the ATP Top 10! 👏)
Honestly, had Discord's PusherBot (automatic entry for lower seeds) and BasherBot (automatic entry for higher seeds) partaken here as well, they would also do well for whatever reason, as BasherBot got 88 points with 4 qualifiers (they even led the Discord standings with 11 players still standing at the end of Q2) that would have landed them inside the Top 20 at 19. Meanwhile, PusherBot got 6 qualifiers (but 8 players still stood at the end of Q2) with 82 points; so, they would have tied with... Grok inside the Top 30 😭 I cannot imagine lol but bots have done well in qualies these times~ hmm ok
All right. Buckle up for some stats and bandwagon stuff, but safe to say that I'll announce the full brackets squad's results soon.

@odyomyavo Doubt I’ll stay unscathed for much longer, but I’ll take it for Q1 😂

DAMIAN KUST 2026 WIMBLEDON QUALIFIERS' CHALLENGE (ATP): END OF ROUND 1
It's timely for me to release this before we start another hectic Q2 day (amidst the heat 🥵). It's been quite a day as well, but among 71 entries I received (67 from us and 4 AIs for the lolz, including Grok's debut), we had an average loss of 4.17 (4.619 with 3 decimals). Well... 🙃
Without further ado, here are the people with the least losses so far:
1. @trayceeleey 0 losses (unscathed, well done!)
T-2. @colexcrive, @japa2se__pride, and @LeoLovesTennis 1 loss each
T-5. @noriyuii_, @JesseMurphe, @Tennis4everrr, and @TidbitsTennis 2 losses each
T-9. @angel12mruiz, @ClayHartje, @crispypadthai, @4dover4, @DawidWiktorski, @FranzyBl, @snack_attacck, @Misialdos, @MariuszGuc, @MaxMax58427, @KapselRoman, @NTK_00_K, @rnw_ch, me, @RicardLopez123, @TeldiTen, @tennis_tid 3 losses each
Today is possibly chaotic, and everything can still change, so be sure to watch the qualies spaces (and my tl, probably, for our games) for more of those 🙃 Also let me know if you have picked or sth but I have yet to recognize you, I'll immediately check it out 👍
P.S. If I'm not mistaken, I also received 7 full bracket submissions. I'll steadily get there while trying some technicalities for the list moving forward 🙏

DAMIAN KUST 2026 WIMBLEDON QUALIFIERS’ CHALLENGE: SUBMISSION OPEN!!
What a crazy turnaround this summer. It felt like we just kicked off the RG challenge a while ago, and now we’re back with Wimbledon? 🙀
Bro. We have limited grass Chs for the ATP (let’s name them: the British swing of Birmingham-Ilkley-Nottingham (grass) + Dublin), limited Tour-level tourneys as well, so most of the rest of the field played in either faster hard or clay tournaments 😭 (even WTA 125s only have Italian clay swing but not Gaiba Slam haaa), which makes the turnaround… even more interesting 😭
I just happened to check (as I rest) and since the draw is out on the site, I’d like to say: START SUBMITTING NOW!!! 🔥
Feel free to put your picks here, or in reply to some of the accounts I often saw your replies from (either from whoever tweeted the draws or those whom I tagged), I will acknowledge them as soon as I also finished locking mine (again, I can be found overthinking lol), and it can be in form of either the 16 names from each section you think will qualify, and/or an entire full bracket. Last RG, we had a record number of 76 entries (73 ours and 3 AIs for the lolz) so who knows we’ll break more records this summer 😅
Technically, I’m trying things (but points system etc didn’t change from last time), so if this works, hope I can extend this game to WTA by the USO 🙏 I love how the future looks for this game~ and again, it’s the fun that matters~
P.S. Updates regarding, God forbid, withdrawals and “which nations would need changing/automatically-designated alternate,” will use this starter tweet as a hub. There’ll be a tweet per day/round for who remains and the bandwagons/micronations.

Ok, without an intention to jinx, outside of Jay Friend, who won his first pro title at any level in Fairfield Ch last October while runner-upping M15 Tauranga (Dec 16, 2024) at his second pro-level final, does anyone know the last time someone who had a Ch-level final as his maiden pro-level final won their first pro-level title at a Ch event without any ITF-level title beforehand?
Because there's a possibility of this mindblowing stuff but I don't wanna jinx him 🤯🐸 (I might have gotten lost online, GPT ain't helping for this one)

...which makes that Darwin's Slam qualies debut 😭
So, to the 38 people in the Elmer nation: the match had yet to begin. It's section 15, so do y'all plan to change or sth? (Those who didn't change will then auto-become the Darwin nation).

DAMIAN KUST 2026 ROLAND GARROS QUALIFIERS' CHALLENGE: SUBMISSION OPEN!!
I need to be honest. This time 4 years ago, I came across the late Damian's and @TennisBlogger1's RG qualifier prediction tweets. I ended up making an entire bracket, and the rest is history. It's highly encouraged to try this since qualies can be harder than the main draw, getting to know the people who could be a menace in the draw (RG is RG, you know).
Also thanks to @talkingtennis22 for asking if the draw is out, and I'm honestly shocked it is already out, which means: START SUBMITTING NOW!!! 🔥
Feel free to send (as a reply here as well or to the accounts mentioned) or mention me (over DMs) either the 16 names from the draw you think would qualify to the main draw OR also the full bracket, and I'll array them to see how we did. I'm mostly doing the ATP for the moment since it's the closest one I follow, but until I found a way to semi-automate this and hopefully so... (we had a record number of 70 submissions, including GPT, last AO, and we're going to have fun here!)
I'll acknowledge them as soon as I locked mine 👍 (might yap about how I brainstorm them in another mini-episode, RG is the Slam I'm easily overthink more about lol, almost everyone's so good on clay).
LET'S GO, EVERYONE!!! 🔥🔥

Tennis 🎾 is booming in Australia 🇦🇺
The First Serve@TheFirstServeAU
🚨 Day 4 at the Australian Open is officially the highest ever attended day in event history - 103,720. The first 4 days of AO 2026 have been the 4 highest attendance days ever, with over 404,000 fans already through the gates.
English

@trayceeleeY @StephenKealy1 @missmwhitton_ That's the compromise. None of the other slams allow it. You have to book, and pay for, a seat on each court including the outer courts. Nothing quite like the AO ground pass happens at the other slams. So you pay a pretty low price but have to negotiate the crowds.
English

@StephenKealy1 @missmwhitton_ If you can get onto one of those courts
English

@missmwhitton_ The outdoor courts are a great spot in the first few days as seeded players are often on them. Fantastic opportunity to see just how hard and fast the ball travels and also the tactical ploys.
English

@TheFirstServeAU Opening week I didn’t mind as you could still see most of the tennis and there weren’t really a lot of lines…
Main draw gets worse and worse every year. More night sessions + Sunday start and the biggest courts sitting empty for hours make it even more overcrowded
English

It’s a big Day 2 coming up at the Australian Open after a whopping 100,000 fans flocked to Melbourne Park on opening Sunday, a new record.
The First Serve team on site, don’t live the ‘fan experience’ as such.
We would love your feedback, what a day at the tennis is like for you with the record crowds over the last 8 days from the start of opening week, even going back to last year. Good, bad, positive, negative? and how it compares to years gone by.

English

@MagpieMetalcore @jkmccrann @TheFirstServeAU Night sessions start at the same time though
And there’s now more of them
It’s greed. More sessions, more $

It's that particular time of the year again since the qualies of the 2026 AO is approaching, but I know this wouldn't be the same. 🥲 It was Damian who scanned the draw and rolled his picks almost right away (and I mostly noticed you guys in the array from there), and we became addicted to predicting qualifiers, even following the Q3 together as we find out who are the qualifiers and LLs 🥲 we started from a small array of less than 10 people to a huge array of 60+ people by last USO.
As a result, @boccardi_marioo and I had a discussion just a couple days ago while we're processing this, and we would also dedicate the game in his honor (thus how we call the game onwards, we named it after him).
As always, my brackets later tonight (yk I'm overthinking even some slightest scenarios in the draw), but you can tag me your tweets of your picks or the entire bracket (or reply below), just so I can notice. And if you guys are new to this handle, yes I've been moving here for some time for some reason 🫠

English

@TennisUpdates25 Any news on qualies lists? We're only two weeks away from the first two tournaments of the year 😫

@odyomyavo This is so helpful! Good thinking to take note of this and screenshot

Now that the Ch season has concluded, who are the next alternates in line for the NextGen Finals? 🤔
I realized Rei Sakamoto is closing in thx to his Yokohama Ch title, but if we use the ranks from Nov 10, which is said to be the cut-off date, the next 4 names in line would be (yay for me handwriting the first 14 names):
- Gilles Arnaud Bailly
- Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez
- Federico Cina
- Juan Carlos Prado Angelo
Considering Justin was next in line then- 🙃 (I didn't save the screenshot so here's the annotated post-it for the first 14 names of the race as of that date). Hope tl finds this helpful lol
