@escapefrommelos In the book, Paul is having a lot of inner turmoil about his role as a Messiah. For some reason, they decided to offload that internal conflict to an external conflict between Paul and Chani. But they are also love interests! So now they hate each other but still sleep together.

I go to the gym almost every day now and one of the things I do is walk on the treadmill for like an hour. Here’s what I’ve noticed. When men go to the gym, they lift weights and work out. When women go to the gym, they stand around the free weight area, play on their phone, move the weights around without actually doing any sets, talk to each other, do a full lap around the gym in nothing but their sports bra and tight shorts, go back to the free weight area, do one set of squats, plays on their phone, goes to locker room. This is consistent across almost every woman in the gym today LOL

In many was they have more economic freedom and are more pro business than the US. In Denmark there is no minimum wage, no property taxes which means you actually own your home, you just pay a small police, fire and sanitation fee that doesn’t force the sale of your home if you don’t pay it. Just because they freely voted to give their people generous social benefits doesn’t make them socialist. Those benefits come courtesy of a robust business environment.

Norway, Sweden and Denmark are not socialist countries. They are social democracies, which is completely different. The only countries that are or have ever been truly socialist are the ones that, ironically enough, western hipsters say aren't examples of real socialism.
