So again, not a good night for him from a scoring perspective, but not terrible, and he was still solid overall.

What I am saying is that "X points on X shots" has NO meaning without the # of possessions also taken by their FT shooting as well. Use "X points on X TS%" or "X points on X PPP" if you don't want to directly include FT's taken.

This is why efficiency in the playoffs is overrated Jamal Murray had a terrible game shooting from the field but if you watched the game you know how impactful he was

It is 100% dependent on the number of FT's taken, and entirely meaningless without that context. Yes he hit his FT's, but shooting wise still inefficient (I do think he was good overall fwiw)

Curry was also VERY good out of the gate as a rookie (avg 20/5/7 on 47/46/90 last 55 g), he just had roadblocks in the form of opportunity (Monta Ellis) and yes needed his body to catch up to his skill a bit.

@theblockspot I'll try to help you out. He came in with a ton of hype as the # 1 overall pick and was given a deal that will gross him ~50+ million a year (good for him). This comes with some backlash when the 2nd, 12th and 13th picks in that draft + his own teammate soundly out-perform you.
