A celebration of all the things we love about #StarTrek from @EnterpriseNXtra. No wrong answers. No nitpicking. Just a total appreciation from #TOS to #SNW!

I don’t know why I thought watching A FACE IN THE CROWD (1957) would be cathartic this election season. It is an excellent film, but Elian Kazan was trying to warn us. Demagoguery is a dangerous weapon.

Love this list from @llapamy! Although, choosing five "Crazy F*cking Things Mike McMahan Did (to Show Us How Much Lower Decks Loves Star Trek)" from one episode of #StarTrekLowerDecks is actually easier than you would think! 🤣
Disco Spock MD🌵🏴‍☠️🚂@llapamy

@TrekRanks @eatatquarks @_rittenhouse_ How about 5 from one episode? S3E10 Old Friends, New Planets 1. Calling out Starfleet for not always getting it right. Even heroes get things wrong. #TryingToDoTheRightThing 2. Rutherford/Boimler "they have the same face" scene Rutherford is all of us #MaquisWouldLikeAWord

One of my absolute favorite "Top 5 Crazy Fucking Things Mike McMahan Did (to Show Us How Much Lower Decks Loves Star Trek)" was bringing Boimler back to the Cerritos in Season 2 via a transporter duplicate. So hilarious and brilliant. (Also, "I'd love to be in a string quartet.")
Chris 🟡🟡🟡🟡@ShelfNerds

@TrekRanks @eatatquarks @_rittenhouse_ 1 Acting in plays; string quartets #RikerHisIdenticalClone “Kayshon, His Eyes Open” Boimler argues for the awesomeness of TNG’s focus on the humanities and classical music on the D. Bonus pick for giving Boimler a transporter clone like Riker.

@TrekRanks Right? It’s so delightfully random! - Klingon extra in “Errand of Mercy” - Redshirt extra in “Obsession” - SS extra in “Patterns of Force”

This is probably my most favorite piece of Star Trek music trivia ever. The second is that composer Basil Poledouris is an extra more than once in TOS

@tddshply @msdukie1997 Oh, of course! The Blaster Beam! One of the most amazing pieces of #StarTrek trivia ever. The "blaster beam" used in TMP and other film soundtracks was invented by this man. Craig Huxley. No joke. Incredible.

Just like the #StarTrekTNG opening credits were modified between seasons 4 ↗️ and 5 ↘️ to include awesome blue streaks under the title, the same happened on #StarTrekLowerDecks between season 4 ↖️ and 5 ↙️! 😀
