@BallParkBuzz No prospect is doing much of anything. Sogard maybe—but he’s a utility guy. Looked bad in ST too. Mayer maybe and Gasper at 2b? Gasper really isn’t a good defensive player. 1b and DH are really his best options. Monasterio? IKF? All could be possible.

Bailey Ober is 6’9” with 7’2” of extension, and he used to at least reach 93-94 mph. He’s also been retained by the Twins through his lower-velocity phase because he’s incredibly cheap to employ. Kids, do not dream of becoming the next Bailey Ober unless you want to play DII.

Patrick Bailey is an incredibly valuable player to have... IF your lineup is deep enough to survive having an automatic out in there. The Giants' isn't, which is why they traded him, and neither is the Guardians', which is why I think they'll end up regretting this.
