John Tortorella declined to speak with the media after advancing to the Western Conference finals. The Golden Knights also didn’t open the dressing room after the game. They brought 1 player into a side room to speak, along with the two who spoke at the podium. I’ve been covering the NHL for nine years and never seen either of those happen once.

@TDChrisG I didn’t see any Ducks fans saying that the Ducks were going to crush Vegas. If they did they must not pay attention to the game. I’m a Ducks fan but I knew Vegas was going to be a harder test than Edmonton. Vegas is deeper in every way than Edmonton. Colorado will be tough.

@K_Nick_97 Would have been nice to get even half the goaltending that Vegas did. Last night wasn’t on Dostal but there were some awful goals he gave up this series. Hope he improves or we are stuck with a below average goalie for a while.

Marner won this series, but Hart made it possible. He was everything he needed to be in all but one of these six games.

I have my issues with Vegas. (Nothing to do w/Torts, I enjoyed covering him actually.) But Anaheim is a team that arrived a couple years ahead of schedule because they hired an (undeniably great) coach who should not be in the NHL based on past actions. Want them eliminated ASAP.
