Same quiet hope that someone might stop, look a little longer, and choose them. And this time… someone did. No more cold floors. No more being overlooked. No more wondering “why not me?” Just a ride home. A new name, maybe. A warm place to sleep. A life where they finally belong. It’s easy to scroll past moments like this… but this is everything. Because for every adoption you see, there are still so many waiting for their turn. And sometimes, the difference between “still waiting” and “going home” is just one person deciding to stop and say yes. Today, this one got their yes. 💕❤

My BIL Died Suddenly in his sleep last year. He was 43. To this day, the cause of death is a mystery. There is just SO MUCH death, but also so much illness & new disability, which is guaranteed to end in premature death. EVERYONE I KNOW has new diagnoses, but they don’t blame Covid. Road to nowhere.

After Covid disabled me in my 30s & I spent 6 years begging people to take it seriously, only to be publicly humiliated & kicked out of society. I’m on the periphery now, fated to watch “Covid is a cold” folks freak out, unaware this is the future we chose when we ignored Covid.
