Simple matter is this: the political interests of @BJP4India in Southern India is no less than its vested interests in Ganga belt region. @RSSorg definition of nationalism and the centrality of Shankaracharya philosophy in their fundamental perspective doesn’t allow BJP to play games in allocation of seats in Parliament. Those who have studied trajectory of @narendramodi before he arrived in Delhi will vouch for it that @narendramodi has understood the importance of regional balancing for survival of the nation. As Chief minister of Gujarat he had established close contacts with non-BJP rulers of Southern states. Sometimes covertly. Some years back @AmitShah had claimed that one day he would like to see the headquarter of @BJP4India in Chennai. In Delimitation process there is no South versus North controversy or conspiracy because it will hurt @BJP4India more than anyone else. Yes, eventually, extremely manipulative politics will be played between @INCIndia and @BJP4India. Congress’s heartburns over the issue is understandable because Congress is just not ready to face these dramatic changes in Indian Democratic infrastructure. A new ground that would emerge after expansion of Lok Sabha will be a Himalayan challenge for all parties but surely bigger challenge for @INCIndia. @BJP4India can’t afford and most unlikely to play with ‘the Southern sentiments’ but definitely Congress is never ‘off the radar’ of @BJP4India.

Mallikarjun Kharge Ji, may not be acceptable as the voice of the Congress. 3. Or, she really wanted Shri. Rahul Gandhi, as Leader of Opposition to express this view through a signed article, but he, like always, chose to do his own thing. 4. Or, Sonia Gandhi Ji thinks that only she has the stature to counter Prime Minister Modi Ji and not her son. That means she knows her son’s shortcomings. 5. Or, she does not want to let go of her dynastic control. All these five probable reasons point to a simmering crisis in the leadership of the Congress party. A crisis that started in 2014 and remains unresolved in 2026, and will continue to remain unresolved permanently. On the content of Sonia Gandhi Ji’s article itself, I have nothing to comment because it is a self-goal. She says in the piece that the Congress asked for an early implementation of women’s reservation but Modi Ji did not accept it in 2023, but since he is accepting it 30 months later we wont’t accept it now. This is nothing but vithanda vaad!! Sonia Ji has also found an excuse to praise her husband in the article, Shri. Rajiv Gandhi Ji’s and the Congress’s ‘efficiency’, by saying that it took them nearly five long years to implement the 73rd and 74th amendments. This is indirect admission that the Congress can never match the delivery speed and efficiency of projects and policies of the NDA government led by Modi Ji.
