Hot take: most landing pages are a waste of time.
Our customers don’t want to scroll.
They want answers. In demos, we get 14+ questions on average.
So we built Alfi — an AI that sits on our homepage and answers anything instantly.
No pages. No menus. Just a conversation.
(He also loves talking smack about Concur)
Curious if this is the future or just a gimmick:

So after all the vitriol, angry retweets, rude replies to this tweet, I’ve spent a few days considering my original thoughts. I like discussion and hearing opposing ideas.
Yet, I still don’t think I’ll be writing a weekly newsletter if I ever reach that monthly income 😄

Economy is finally getting the attention it deserves—and #UnitedAirlines is making a serious play for the top spot.
For decades, long-haul economy has been a race to the bottom: tighter seats, less comfort, lower expectations. But this shift signals something different. Airlines are starting to realize that improving the experience for the majority of passengers isn’t just good user experience —it’s good business.
What we’re seeing here isn’t a small upgrade. It’s a rethinking of space, layout, and how people actually experience a 10+ hour flight.
If United executes this well, they’re not just improving economy—they’re redefining it. And that’s how you become #1.

At what stage should your company adopt a travel platform?
We get this question a lot — and the answer isn't one-size-fits-all.
But after working with 300+ companies on their travel programs, here's how we think about it.
~25 employees: You're probably fine without one. At this size, travel is manageable. Someone on the ops or finance team can book flights, track receipts, and wrangle itineraries without losing their mind. The volume just isn't there yet to justify a platform investment. Keep it simple.
~50 employees: This is where things start to get interesting. You've got multiple departments traveling, maybe a few recurring events or client visits per quarter, and suddenly nobody knows what the company is spending on flights. Expense reports pile up. Policy enforcement is nonexistent. A managed travel solution at this stage isn't just convenient — it gives you visibility, savings, and time back for the people who've been duct-taping the process together.
100+ employees: It's table stakes. At this point, unmanaged travel is costing you real money — duplicate bookings, missed savings, zero negotiating leverage, compliance gaps. You need centralized reporting, policy controls, and a partner who can actually support travelers at scale. Flying without a platform here isn't scrappy — it's expensive.
The real inflection point for most companies is somewhere between 50 and 100. That's where the pain becomes undeniable and the ROI of a platform becomes obvious.
Curious where your company falls?

Airplane Etiquette Just Became Airline Policy!!
Ever been stuck on a flight next to someone blasting TikTok, FaceTime, or a full movie without headphones? Yeah… airlines are officially over it.
United Airlines recently updated its Contract of Carriage — the agreement you accept when you buy a ticket — to include a rule about personal device audio.
The gist:
If you’re listening to audio or watching videos without headphones, the airline can now take action.
And by action they mean:
• Ask you to stop
• Refuse boarding
• Or even remove you from the flight
Basically, the “headphones are polite” rule just became actual airline policy.
Honestly… it’s kind of amazing it took this long.
Airplanes are one of the last places where 150 strangers are stuck together in a metal tube for hours. A little audio courtesy probably isn’t too much to ask.
But it does raise the question…
Is this a fair rule — or a little overkill?
What do you think? ✈️

Planning travel for an event isn’t just “booking flights.”
It’s coordinating dozens — sometimes hundreds — of people, all arriving within tight windows, from different cities, with plans that change right up until the last minute.
Yet most teams are still managing event travel with tools built for individual business trips.
That gap shows up as last-minute chaos, budget leaks, and planner burnout.
We unpack why traditional travel tools break down for events — and what an event-first approach actually looks like.
