@rudigermaxpower They made it year color to try encourage use for breeding sheep & to prevent people buying lots of years worth of tags at once because at that stage the rebate was for only 1 year. However if you contact PIRSA they will more than likely allow the discount for other colored tags
English

Can someone please explain why the discount is only available to that year colour, given it’s a voluntary system in the first place?
Livestock SA@Livestock_SA
The discount will be applied by the retailer or manufacturer at the time of purchase. If you have bought NLIS-accredited eID tags (sky blue) in 2023 you can also apply for the eID Device Rebate. 👉Learn more: buff.ly/3wWWTC7

@farmersgrowit @broadacrebabe This is a national system Mark not developed by CFS

@broadacrebabe We were told by Cfs that the new system was similar to the old......seems not to be the case!
They haven’t done their homework!🙄

Im trying to understand new FDI. If I use the example given on current table & convert with Aurora calculator to 2m height, I get a result that we need to cease harvest at 35 degrees & 18km/hr wind?? So a drop from 26km/hr to 18km/hr? Is this correct @farmersgrowit
