Well, good thing I didn’t pre-write that Capel story 😮 Retention always has been most logical course. He was given a fair shot. But spending that much so a good coach doesn’t coach was bad biz. Spend it on acquiring talent. (And maybe convince Jeff to focus more on D).

We finished 4th in the conference that year behind Duke, UNC, and UVA: all of who had better rosters than us. That wasn't an underachieving year. 2025 was.
