An Alaskan King, however, measures a full 108 inches by 108 inches — that’s 9 feet by 9 feet! This leaves the question… is the Alaskan King becoming a new trend, or have these giant beds been around longer? And why would anyone need something this big — extra room for kids and pets to pile in, or simply because bigger really is better? Would you consider getting a bed this large?
