Thank you Hon’ble Prime Minister for your warm wishes. All should experience the grandeur of #Mahashivaratri, one of the most significant festivals of Bharat. Adiyogi’s contribution in the making of this Civilization & for the future of Humanity is such that Adiyogi shall not remain as a figure of the past but an inspiration for the future to seek wellbeing & transcendence, not from above but from within. The source of all human experience is within us & the solutions for all human problems and complexities are also within us. This is the fundamental of Adiyogi’s contribution & this shall naturally be the future of this world. Thank you very much once again. -Sg @narendramodi @PMOIndia

Less than a fortnight to go for Mahashivratri and the culmination of the Maha Kumbh Mela. The next two weeks are a powerful opportunity to give oneself to sadhana, utilize the natural support present at the Kumbh, and prepare for MahaShivRatri - the great night of Shiva! -Sg

I really don't know why I am doing this, my body just doesn't want to get into this soul-stirring exhaustion again for 15 months but my integrity isn't allowing me to sit back. The silent disaster soil extinction is bringing is too extreme and under-noticed and it's well beyond my dignity to know all this and not do something about it. Join me in my mission to make soil extinction a global concern followed by policies and laws to #SaveSoil #makesoilgreatagain

Over 15,000 years ago, Adiyogi- the Adi Guru- offered his Knowing to Humanity that led to a dimensional change in the way people perceive and understand the Existence and the Source of Creation. He made himself a bridge between an individual piece of creation and the ultimate source of creation. It is my wish & my blessing that you use the Bridge to access The Source. Blessings. -Sg #GuruPurnima

.@G7 has concluded with migration as a key issue, especially from Africa. It is a step in the right direction to acknowledge the lack of livelihood opportunities in migrants' homelands, where a large percentage of the population relies on farming. As soil degradation and desertification take their toll, reviving millet cultivation with tree-based agriculture is a long-term solution. Millet ensures basic nourishment, while trees are standing wealth on the land – an incentive for people to not leave their homelands. This can be a game-changer for large-scale migration from Africa. Let us make it happen. –Sg #SaveSoil

My personal view is that Cyril Ramaphosa and the ANC can and should form a broad-based government, not just based on parties but also on competencies within those parties. The focus should be on meritocracy. Across the parties that have been elected to parliament, citizens care not just about representation but also about delivery, which requires competence. This should be a broad-based government that unites the country rather than sabotaging each other or viewing each other through partisan lenses. The country can move forward if the government is broad-based on being South African, putting the country first. This happened in 1994, and it can happen again now. Once your intention is to build a government of all interest groups in the country, it will make it easier for you to govern. Every party that won seats has competent people in it. Involve them, and you won’t have a disastrous five years ahead! Coalitions should not be built on fear, threats, and personal demands to serve an individual rather than the people of South Africa. The broad-based coalition attempt should be done openly so that if it fails, South Africans know who to blame. In the historic 1994 Cabinet of Nelson Mandela's Government of National Unity, there were several ministers who came from parties other than the African National Congress (ANC). The most notable example was Mangosuthu Buthelezi, the leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), who served as the Minister of Home Affairs. Other ministers from non-ANC parties in Mandela's Cabinet included: - Roelf Meyer (National Party) - Minister of Constitutional Affairs - Joe Slovo (South African Communist Party) - Minister of Housing - Jay Naidoo (Congress of South African Trade Unions) - Colin Eglin (Democratic Party) - Minister of Environment Affairs - Kadar Asmal (Transformation Party) - Minister of Water Affairs and Forestry - Gerrit Viljoen (National Party) - Minister of Constitutional Development and Provincial Affairs - Dullah Omar (Pan Africanist Congress) - Minister of Justice - Pravin Gordhan (South African Communist Party) - Deputy Minister of Finance So a broad based government will not be a new thing instead of a winner takes all which creates a coalition of ANC with DA only to ANC and MK and EFF only.

WHO Director-General calls for a "transformation" of our food systems, away from meat-eating and traditional agriculture, under the pretext of tackling "climate change": "Our food systems are harming the health of people and planet. Food systems contribute to over 30% of greenhouse gas emissions, and account for almost one third of the global burden of disease." "Transforming food systems is therefore essential, by shifting towards healthier, diversified and more plant based diets."

Africa strengthens its commitment to soil! African nations' heads of state adopted the Nairobi Declaration on fertiliser and soil health. The declaration commits to restoring soil health on at least 30% of degraded soil by 2034. The leaders also committed to creating a soil health fund. The fund will be used for research, capacity building, and startups focused on soil health actions.
