@abgutman It’s not a failure to go on meds. If you had diabetes and needed insulin to survive you wouldn’t call it a failure. You would think you failed for supporting other parts of your body with meds, same should apply to your brain. Sending lots of hugs.

In 2022 I decided to stop taking my antidepressant for the first time in many years. I’ve gone into a terrible depression and my OCD nearly debilitated me. I felt like it would be a failure to go back on meds. But I did. It sucked. But I’m better now. Much, much, better.
