The recent storms in Dubai disrupted normal operations and we sincerely apologise to customers who are still waiting for their bags.
Customers who had travelled to Dubai as their final destination but were unable to retrieve their bags on arrival, may now collect their bags from the airport.
Please proceed to the left luggage arrivals area in Terminal 3 (opposite exit 1, behind Boots Pharmacy). Please bring your baggage tag along. The collection area is open 24 hours. Our team will also deliver bags to those who have filed a report, but it will take time.
Customers who have a delayed baggage and already have a file reference number (PIR), can access information and updates about their delayed baggage at emirat.es/baggagestatus. Please do not proceed to the airport to collect your baggage until our local team contacts you.
To all other customers, we apologise for the delay. It will take us some more days to sort and reconcile the backlog caused by the storm disruption. We will update you as soon as we can.

@EmiratesSupport @emirates My wife just landed in Barcelona and her bag with all her lecturing material didn’t arrive. It’s an utter disgrace that an airport of your size just looses luggage. I won’t be flying emirates ever again!!

Emirates is suspending check-in for all customers in our network with onward connections through Dubai until 23:59hrs GMT, 19 April (03:59hrs Dubai time, 20 April).
Customers with connections in Dubai will only be accepted at their point of origin if their flight departs after 23:59hrs GMT, 19 April. This is to support operations recovery from the recent bad weather at our Dubai hub.
Passengers already in Dubai and in transit will be accepted on their flights.
Customers travelling to Dubai as their final destination may check-in and travel as usual. Customers can expect delays to departures and arrivals and are advised to check the latest flight status here emirat.es/flightstatus.
Impacted customers should contact their booking agent or Emirates Office for rebooking options.
Emirates extends our sincerest apologies to impacted customers who have experienced delays and disruption to their travel plans. We appreciate how difficult it is for everyone affected.
