@oldishbird1 They also criticised the Tories for planning to cut the winter fuel allowance as Starmer said there was a £46B black hole in the finances. He stopped it with half that deficit. I also remember Rayner saying it should be paid on TV too.

Just a reminder. Labour made no commitment to compensation for WASPI women in the 2024 manifesto. They included no funding for it in the November budget. Why is anyone surprised that they cannot fund billions in compensation?

Great news! Today Parliament passed the Bill to bring rail back into public ownership. People are sick of the rip-off, privatised rail system. Today is a big step forward in getting a rail system that puts the public before private profit!
