The nation witnessed a horrifying situation this weekend. My prayers are with the family of Alex Pretti.
My support for funding ICE remains the same. Enforcing our immigration laws makes our streets safer. It also protects our national security. But we must also maintain our core values as a nation, including the right to protest and assemble.
I expect a prioritized, transparent investigation into this incident.

We can confirm Alex Pretti was a nurse at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. As President Trump has said, nobody wants to see chaos and death in American cities, and we send our condolences to the Pretti family. Such tragedies are unfortunately happening in Minnesota because of state and local officials’ refusal to cooperate with the federal government to enforce the law and deport dangerous illegal criminals.

When I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories. But near the top of the list: A couple of off duty ICE and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis. They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. The officers were locked in the restaurant, and local police refused to respond to their pleas for help (as they've been directed by local authorities). Eventually, their fellow federal agents came to their aid. This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement. They have created the chaos so they can have moments like yesterday, where someone tragically dies and politicians get to grandstand about the evils of enforcing the border. The solution is staring everyone in the face. I hope authorities in Minneapolis stop this madness.

Proctor was an unwitting pawn. He ran with it and decided Karen was guilty and his fellow cops and their family couldn’t possibly be involved. So he manufactured evidence, thinking he was doing it for the greater good. John’s death was an accident but the coverup is the crime.

I don’t think #KarenRead had anything to do with the death of John O’Keef. I think he got out of the car at Albert House. John went into the garage where the Bryans Albert and Higgins were hanging out with the dog. Higgins was in his drunk feelings and started an argument.
