Monolith Soft Programmer "MK" discusses how he's changed as a programmer working on Tears of the Kingdom: "I used to strongly believe that a programmer's primary role was to incorporate the ideas of planners and designers so that the game would function correctly. However, I've come to be more conscious of working together with everyone to figure out how to make it fun. For example, the mini-game "Ultra Ball Haul" is a simple game where you carry the ball as far as possible, but how you do it is left up to the player's imagination. ...the fun of this game lies in being able to actually try out the methods you come up with. However, a system with no restrictions, such as "it can be carried anywhere" or "it can be carried by any means," is difficult to predict where and what kind of problems will occur, and therefore carries a lot of risk. In the past, when I first heard the idea, I think I would have reacted by saying, 'That's difficult.'" monolithsoft.co.jp/interview/dev0…

The medium is different, but the need is the same. Men deserve a space of their own, and video games are one of the best ones they've found. This came out when filmmakers actually still cared about what they were making.

What gaming opinion will you defend like this?🚀

Black Ops 2 was made with only 250 devs, with 50 contractors and testers also helping. That's pretty crazy compared to the thousand and thousands they use today
