Every 3rd russian athlete at the Beijing 2022 Olympics was a soldier of the russian army. People who continue to repeat that russian athletes have nothing to do with the russian criminal aggression against Ukraine are either stupid or completely morally bankrupt.

Many Ukrainians are completely shocked by what happens on Polish-Ukrainian border. Thousands of Ukrainian trucks with vital supplies are blocked. The perception is that Polish government ignores the issue. The mood of treason and betrayal. Emotional implication will be enormous

Russian army launched a missile attack on Novogrodovka town, Donetsk region. A residential building was destroyed. People are under the rubble. There are wounded and dead. Russia calls this "protection from the Nazis." In fact Russia is killing people of Donbass

This publication of @nytimes is quite important for a whole set of reasons. Possibly, however, not for ones intended by the editors. One important take from it is that the russian women aren’t against the war of aggression launched by putin and apparently supported by the population at large. The women in russia are in fact of the opinion that the invaders are “heroes” who just need to be rotated. In the words of one of the female supporters of the war: “If he did something heroic, spilled blood for his country sincerely, then maybe it was time to return to his family, make way for someone else, but that’s not happening.” This message is reinforced by another quote from the publication: “The groups protesting take pains to stress that they are not unpatriotic and that they strive to respect the law. They say they are simply asking that the Kremlin introduce troop rotations.” So don’t get misled! It’s not just putin’s war, it’s the war of millions of men and women in russia - mothers, wives, daughters, sisters… It’s also regrettable that the @nytimes has failed to highlight it, reducing the reporting to just one aspect of the problem. Nevertheless, it does collaterally brings you to the above conclusion even if it’s not perhaps intended by the authors nytimes.com/2023/11/27/wor…

Today Ukraine commemorates victims of Holodomor, a man-made famine orchestrated by Soviet Russia that killed millions of people. Also today, Russia launched one of its largest drone attacks on Kyiv, targeting civilians in their sleep. The choice of the day was not random.

Kyiv is under attack by Russian drones this morning. Explosions reverberating across the Ukrainian capital as air defense works to shoot down the Shaheds that have arrived in waves over the past three hours. It's been months since it sounded like this here.

👎 russian special services are involved in blocking Ukraine's border with Poland and Slovakia This was the conclusion reached by the investigators of the Guildhall information agency, after analyzing the party affiliation, the sphere of activity and the circle of communication of the persons who are the direct organizers of the road "protests" on our western border. Rafal Mekler is the official organizer of blocking the Ukrainian border with Poland. He is the owner of the transport company Rafał Mekler Transport and the head of the branch of the pro-Russian party "Confederation of Freedom and Independence" in the Lublin Voivodeship. "Confederation" is known for its pro-Russian positions and views. Its leader, Janusz Korvyn-Mikke, called on the Polish government to recognize the occupation of Crimea, traveled to the annexed peninsula himself and even met there with the local Gauleiter of the Russian Federation Aksyonov. In Slovakia, neighboring Poland, the organizers of the action to block the border are activists of the public organization "Union of Motor Carriers of Slovakia" (UNAS). The blocking was supported by the anti-European right-wing radical party "Our Slovakia". This political force is known for its friendly contacts with the Russian Federation and officially advocates the "restoration of friendly ties" with the aggressor country.

20 Days In Mariupol should be shown at prime time on all major Western television networks. People must see what happened there. People must face the stark reality of the brutality that the Ukrainian people are forced to endure every single day. Only then will the apathy end.

Russia is throwing everything it has - bribery, propaganda, migrants, energy blackmail, hackers - at Europe and the US - with the clear (and often stated) intent of destabilizing Western democracies. When will we begin to take this challenge seriously?
Emil Kastehelmi@emilkastehelmi

Recent developments in Finland: Over the past few days, Russia has sent an increasing number of migrants to Finland's borders. Finland has closed several border crossing points due to the authorities' threat assessment. A video surfaced of the Russian operation. 1/

I want every russian person to see this film. To understand what russian troops have done to Mariupol 🇺🇦, the heinous war crimes they committed and continue to commit every single day. I want every russian person — in russia or abroad — to understand that THAIR GOVERNMENT is waging this criminal war in THAIR NAME. Not all of you — russian people — are guilty, but all of you, who failed to oppose this war publicly, are responsible! Your silence is your complicity! I understand that you live in a police state and that standing up is hard! But is it not harder to watch innocent civilians being killed by YOUR ARMY? Is it easier for you to look away when your compatriots are bombing maternity wards than it would be for you to speak up against russian imperialism, against this criminal, unjust war? I went to see this documentary today in Amsterdam. It was sold out. The theater was packed. Every person cried. I cried. Tears of rage, tears of helplessness in the face of pure, unadulterated evil. Tears of guilt — could I have personally done more to prevent those unthinkable atrocities? Am I doing enough now to help end the genocide russia brought to Ukraine? Walking out, I saw many searching eyes. Looks of despair and disbelief. This is happening now on the “post-war” continent. How did we — all of us — let this happen? I’ve heard people speak Dutch, English, French… I’ve heard Ukrainian. But I didn’t hear russian. I’d like to believe it was the sense of deep shame. Still, I don’t dismiss the possibility that russian people did not come to see this unbelievably difficult film about the russian invasion of Ukraine, about russian war crimes, about the “russian world” of death, rape, and torture their government had brought to Ukraine. If you are a russian person, I want to hear from you. If you know russian people, please ask them if they’ve seen this film. #NeverAgainIsNow #20DaysInMariupol 🙏 Thank you @20DaysMariupol @mstyslav9 @frontlinepbs
