Russians attacked an animal shelter in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine yesterday. At least 8 dogs were killed, many more injured. Evil, just so damn evil, those Russians.

Yesterday I visited Chernihiv region 🇺🇦 with @andrii_sybiha and @V_Chaus where residents told us about how they’ve been surviving the war. I saw the school basement where an entire village was held captive for a month in 2022 by Russian troops, and the Invincibility Points that serve as resilience hubs and help keep people supplied during outages now. I saw how the armed forces are countering Russian drones. And I met with university students who are determined to play their part in a peaceful, prosperous future.

The Russians attacked a playground in Kryvyi Rih. Parents are mourning their child in the video, which will soon be taken down. Six children were killed. The author of my animated film lives near that place. I always ask how she’s doing. Today, I asked again 1/2

«Мій синочок. Ви не бачили мого сина? Ромчик, ти знаєш де він?» Це була звичайна рутинна евакуація до Дніпра. Як завжди. Поклали-посадили поранених, всю дорогу їх контролювали, вивезли до лікарні, почали вивантажувати. Під воротами лікарні стояли жінка та чоловік і чекали.
