It's part of the process to feel stupid when you're learning something new. Damn, it's even a good sign, it means you're growing. Optimize on feeling stupid more often. Make it your north star even. That I'd say to my kid version. And to my present self.

Will we hire engineers in the future? Prompting is thinking. The sharper your thoughts, the better the prompts, the better the outputs. Engineering and design are headed into a world where most of the output is produced by prompting, if not all. The way we interview engineers has already been trending in this direction. At Vercel, we don’t care if you memorized every API and module. When we look at your coding, we assess the quality of your thinking and collaboration. It’s more so an evaluation of your “thinking tokens” or reasoning trace. In fact, the more you expose it, walking through how you backtrack, pivot, adjust, consult, the better signal we get. My prediction is that the demand for great thinkers will remain unabated. It’s unclear if we’ll call them engineers or if it’ll matter, because these people will have a lot of full stack impact on the whole business, as they’ll have access to prompt their way to any successful outcome.

As a European: I was like WTF, they don't require ID to vote! Then I found this: reddit.com/r/TooAfraidToA… They ID system is such a fucking mess. They can vote with many different IDs depending on the state. In Europe, you can vote with: - State Identity OR - Passport You cannot vote with a hunter's license or other WTF license 🤯

App Store localization is another boring process. You have to write release notes and update descriptions for every supported language for every release. I used to do that, and in the end, I used English for all languages 😅 So, I create an app to solve this problem. apps.apple.com/us/app/localiz… You can create a new version and localize metadata within one click. #iosdev
