This shit is so fucking scummy man. No duh numbers are low, no body wants a code in a box. But they 100% did this on purpose so they could report "low retail sales" to then further push the fact that physical is a dying market to then push the all-digital future.

Retail stores saw record low pre-order numbers for the GTA 6 code in a box version. This is literally going to kill retail gaming. Completely cutting out the middleman is pretty wild and also cutting off the ability for the game to be sold secondhand. Lots of stores saw single digit pre-order numbers. And a lot of them just won’t survive. This game was meant to be the catalyst for them.
