1st day since stk began sliding that HY spreads r really getting whacked, +20bps. But IG +3.3 is not too bad all things considered. IG CDX +2bps. 3-mth $VIX curve toying w/ -5, i.e. lots of fear, bordering on panic. Absolute lvls for bot IG/HY (~84/~325bps) r still good. "Liberation day" peaks were ~110/450. $SPY $QQQ

$VIX futures up 4% but also seeing fixed strike IV's higher across expirations and that VIX curve inverted by 80 cents now between April and May. Seems the VIX markets anticipating a bigger move coming either direction

@omshanti08 Vol too high, the pikers and chiselers can’t get in, too expensive. Had to be positioned with time and hold through some pain. They won’t get to take part in the 12-6 🐺🙏🏼👀

@omshanti08 So anyone reading, wolf shorted major basket of semis June 20, 2024, covered July 30. Flipped long aug 5, then believe shorted again aug 20, covered early sept. Then shorted dec 2024 smci/semis, went long tech April 2025. Seems fun road ahead and long way for semi to drop 🐺🤓😎
