Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP (TS: 07 Apr 18:32 ET)‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍

@ManCity @PepTeam @PepTeam tactics have gone full galaxy brain black hole: 3 wingers starting, Savinho over Cherki, Rodri Bernardo double pivot vibes in 2026 like it’s still 2018, side passes for 64 minutes, zero creativity, then sub on the flair merchant when you’re already 3-0 down.

@ManCity @PepTeam Yeah, its frustrating to watch right now. Rayan Cherki has been one of City’s most creative outlets this season goals, assists, moments of real magic but Pep’s rotation (or whatever you want to call these galaxy-brain decisions) keeps dropping him to the bench in key games.

He’s genuinely our only creative player but doesn’t even start in big games. It genuinely annoys me so much, can’t be bothered anymore

Ah yes, the spirit of cricket Power & money = lets adjust the format If Bangladesh’s players, staff, or fans aren’t safe in India, forcing them to play isn’t integrity , it’s intimidation. Hosting means protecting everyone, not just the ones who bring the cash. SHAME ON YOU @ICC

I understand all situations are different. But India refusing to travel to Pakistan for CT 2025 and the ICC creating a hybrid model to work around. Compared to Bangladesh refusing to travel to India and the ICC saying put up or get booted - has made me sad.

@HackIndia @cameronponsonby When your argument ends with “we make the most money,” you’ve already admitted the ICC isn’t a governing body — it’s a business cartel. If cricket “starves” without one country, that’s not dominance — that’s a failure of governance.

First off, India's refusal to tour Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy? It's rooted in decades of cross-border terrorism, assassinations, and a litany of attacks that make "security concerns" sound like an understatement. Pakistan's own history of harboring militants isn't exactly a tourism brochure, and no sane board would risk their players in a place where even international teams have been targeted (remember the 2009 Lahore attack on Sri Lanka?). Now, Bangladesh's "refusal" to play in India for the 2026 T20 World Cup? Spare me the victim card. If Bangladesh is so "terrified," why not cite actual intelligence instead of vague "anti-Bangladeshi sentiments"? Oh wait, because it's a thinly veiled excuse, backed by Pakistan's predictable solidarity (shocker, given their own grudges). India generates 87% of ICC's revenue and without us, cricket starves. Bangladesh? A drop in the ocean. So yeah, the ICC threatens to boot them because they can. Mic drop.

@cameronponsonby Same issue, different rules. When India says no, formats change. When Bangladesh says no, threats follow. That’s not fairness — that’s favoritism.

Either security concerns matter for everyone or they don’t. Creating workarounds for India while pressuring Bangladesh exposes how unequal international cricket governance really is.

Kolkata Knight Riders released Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman from their IPL 2026 squad after BCCI instructions. The surprising thing is that India can accommodate Hasina Wajid, but cannot allow Mustafizur Rahman to play in the IPL. Bangladesh might refuse to play its World Cup matches in India because the players could face security risks. Sheikh Hasina Wajid, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, remains in exile in India.  @ICC @BCCI @BCBtigers @KKRiders @IPL
