Redhill pedestrian station road yesterday. I counted 19 vehicles, not a market day either. Bollards have been down for weeks, this parking appears normalised now 🤷. What's happening please? @_JonathanEssex @SurreyRoadCops

I know it's market day but this is getting ridiculous. Cars queuing to park in the pedestrian area in Redhill. No space for people. Please @_JonathanEssex @BramhallNatalie can you take some action?

@twiglet_monster @_JonathanEssex @BramhallNatalie It’s crazy, it’s an accident waiting to happen. The County Council need to act & start to actually enforce the pedestrian area (whether or not the bollards are working) Also some of those cars are there everyday #Redhill #Surrey #Parking

@stuart_holmes1 Appreciate the updates @stuart_holmes1 . Can we stop with the "soon" and actually have some dates to hold our officials to account please? This has been going on for too long, hardly a new issue.

This is why Redhill’s pedestrianised area needs fixing👇 Redhill’s a great town with great potential but is being ruined by constant parking issues. It’s why I’ve been onto Surrey County Council to find out what’s happening (see update in replies) #Redhill #Parking

@stuart_holmes1 @_JonathanEssex @BramhallNatalie Thanks Stuart. Update appreciated. I counted SEVENTEEN cars in this area. Two cars were actively moving around and queueing for space. Meanwhile there's Mums with prams weaving through the cars. In a pedestrian area. It's a public health risk.

@GWRHelp zero announcements at Redhill about Reading services, noone has a clue what's happening! In case anyone is trying to figure it out, lines BLOCKED at Wanborough due to flooding. Doubt you'll get to Reading much before lunchtime.
