Just so you know, what Bill Ackman did today to pump Fannie Mae $FNMA and Freddie Mac $FMCC stock 1 day before quarter end, is the exact same thing he did 1 day before another quarter and year end.
Say No To Trading@SayNoToTrading

You seem to act like your posts are altruistic, but ulterior motives lurk beneath. $UNH In the case of $FNMA and $FMCC, your post on December 30th could not have been more unfair to your fund’s investors. A last minute boost on share price of these illiquid stocks so your 2024 fees go up?

It’s crazy how the US and Israel are striking thousands of targets across Iran. Iran hits a single target every three days and the panicans start posting how much of a disaster this operation is. It’s all a demoralization op.

@SayNoToTrading We have seen lots of friday reversal, though I don’t think Trump cares about market that much anymore. He knows he will lose the midterms now..

Ok, I think it’s about time for Trump to put out a pump tweet so market doesn’t close at the lows.

@Osint613 You are knowingly misquoting him, I wonder why? He is not saying ‘boycotters’ he says ‘isolationists’.

Citron is Short $SNDK — They Don't Ring a Bell at the Top We don't need Anthropic to announce they're making NAND. Samsung is already the 800-pound gorilla, and they've been running this playbook for 30 years. While TV pundits pound the table herding retail into cattle cars, Western Digital, the long time investor, sold a significant portion of its holdings days ago, 25% lower. Ask yourself why. Because they know the cycle is approaching a peak, and they're not waiting for the bell. The market is pricing SanDisk like it's $NVDA. There's one problem: NVIDIA has a moat. SanDisk sells a commodity. We've seen this movie before 2008, 2012, 2018. It's never different this time. Memory is a cycle, and cycles peak. Samsung has a 30-year history of choosing market share over margins. They wait for pure-plays like SanDisk to get comfortable at 50% gross margins, then flip the switch. But this time it's worse. Every $SNDK bull should read attached article Samsung just told the world they won't sell anything under 50% margins and they're moving their best chips into the same premium SSD market SanDisk calls home. They're not just the capacity gorilla anymore. They're going after SanDisk's best customers with cheaper, newer technology. And the only thing keeping supply tight right now? Samsung's temporary yield problems in another product line. That bottleneck has an expiration date. With double the capacity of the 2018 peak waiting in the wings, this "shortage" is a supply mirage that can vanish in a single earnings call. Hockey shout-out: Shorting $SNDK is skating to where the puck is going. By the time the cycle normalizes, this stock will already be much lower. technetbooks.com/2026/02/samsun…

SaaS + B2B info services... today seems like a liquidation. $IT is not the equivalence of $SPGI, $MCO, $EFX, $GWRE. Yes, all have a little overlap but proprietary data and regulated services are reasonable moats. No, I don't care what Warren says about "Medicaid profiteering" re: credit reporting agencies and $FICO. Don't expect me to post on days like this. Busy. I told you I sold $SOXL yesterday and I think chips will underperform relative to SaaS soon.

I bought Meta stock. And will continue building it to a large position. There’s no rocket science behind it. I see low valuation, high growth, and a wide moat.

Regarding the big fat $13.50 dividend from Progressive $PGR coming in a couple weeks: - The ex div date is January 2nd. - As such, I expect a climb in share price through year end is more likely than not. - Technically they call this their annual dividend, not special. This is in addition to their normal dividend. - Last year's was $4.50. - Why so large this year? Perhaps to boost share price which, perhaps is because C-suite compensation requires share price at certain level for 2025.
Bryan Simpson@Dirtwork1
