@jyn_urso May you dad rest in peace and continue to shine inside you
English

My dad died yesterday after a long illness. I wouldn’t be involved in bitcoin had he not first introduced me to computers before I could read or write. My dad taught me that God’s greatest gift to humanity is the mind and we must use it to make this world a better place. I try to live my life in the light of this lesson. Rest in peace, Dad. I love you.

Will I be happy to say goodbye to 2025? Not all of it. Up until the end of October it was pretty damn good despite my jaw infections. But having a collapsed lung & multi-organ failure has been horrible & I'm still recovering with a long way to go. The frown lines have got deeper but the smile is still there. I'd like to thank all the wonderful people for supporting my GoFundMe during this time, it has made a huge difference. Please continue to share my story if you can: gofund.me/6e8154481

The best therapy comes without walls or Wi-Fi, and nothing heals, steadies, or lifts quite like fresh air. It’s the cheapest and finest luxury there is. Out here, every breath reminds you what matters.

My 13 year old Daughter died from #BrainCancer 4,679 days ago. 💔
I would LOVE to see my Ashley’s name 4,679 times in comments for all the days she’s been missing.
When you lose a Child, the most beautiful word you can hear is their name. ❤️
A Repost & Follow would mean the world to us to keep our Ashley’s story alive.

@2StefanMoore I lost my twin brother in a hit and run road
Traffic incident in 2004 and the pain is crushing you just learn to live with the pain and try to live your life with their love holding your heart . I will say a prayer for you and your family

"My little sister passed away on her 16th birthday along with her best friend. My grandma was driving the car when they were all hit by a drunk driver. While my sister and her friend both passed, my grandma was airlifted to the hospital and is currently not doing great.
I know that God has a grand plan. I may not understand why this had to happen, but God sees more than I do and I'm thankful that my dear sister no longer has to feel the pains of this mortal life. I am relying heavily on my testimony and my savior to get me through this tragic time, but my family and I are struggling to say the least.
***I am asking all who can to say a little prayer for my family and for my grandma.**"

My daughter, Charlotte, was just 19 when she died from a brain tumour on 24th February 2016 nearly 10 years ago. In that time:
Nothing has changed with the standard NHS chemotherapy Temozolomide licensed back in 1999.
Nothing has changed in the standard six-week course of radiotherapy.
But one thing has changed:
Charlotte’s BAG has raised £335,000 directly funding research at Charlotte’s Lab, King’s College Hospital, London where they are:
“Advancing the development and validation of rapid DNA sequencing and real-time data analysis using Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT). In collaboration with ONT and colleagues at the University of Nottingham, we have made substantial progress in the first phase of our validation programme. This initiative aims to replace our current methods of methylation classification and MGMT promoter testing with a faster, more efficient workflow. By doing so, we expect to significantly shorten the time patients must wait for these important results, supporting quicker clinical decision-making and improved patient care.”

The big difference with our charity is simple: we self-fund everything.
No salaries
No overheads
No advertising No merchandise
We even cover PayPal & PO Box fees ourselves
Meaning that 100% of every donation goes directly to research
Charlotte was brave, kind, and wise beyond her years. She shared her journey openly on her YouTube channel with her last video being filmed on 4th February 2016 the day before she went into a coma. Her channel has since received over 25 million views around the world. Her legacy lives on through this work. YouTube Charlotte Eades
