For you and your followers who can’t do math, the US has contributed over $11.7T (with a “T”), that’s $11,700,000,000 to NATO over 12 years. Why in the world would we want to be part of this organization? It only helps the EU countries who don’t spend any money for protection. NATO was formed after WWII in 1949, so a country like Russia or Germany doesn’t take over the world. During WWII, we had no obligation to get involved with the European conflict other to help our allies, mainly France, because they were instrumental in helping the US gain independence from England.
The US has over 750 US owned military bases worldwide in over 80 different countries. Let that sink in. On top of the $980B (with a B), that we send to NATO annually, the US also maintains all of those bases.
