@OnomyAlex @Xxtayce The Declaration isn't a legal document. It's more like a philosophical treatise and a breakup letter rolled into one. But the idea that a legal "right to life" exists is ridiculous. There would be no self-defense, let alone a ladder that you could fall off of...

@Xxtayce The Declaration of Independence famously references the “right to life” Though it also talks about “consent of the governed” and nobody seems to give that the same weight.

I’ve noticed more than a few people who simultaneously think that abortion rights are strongly protected by the US Constitution; but that the right to “assault weapons” is not. Can someone steel-man a rational argument for these simultaneous views? I just don’t see it at all.

@jaasak I hate when people put logos on memes. Like, bro, you don't own this image just because you put text on it ...

@ThatmattersNews I hope they at least mind the velvet ropes at the Kremlin, or else we might have a situation even WORSE than #J6!

@BluePWC2022 @THETRUE207 @PaulHook_em Ah, the sweet cries of a person losing an argument on the internet. "Who asked you?" etc... I suppose next your going to start telling people to "get a life" and to "stop spamming" you with their replies. 😂

@PaulHook_em Are you a lawyer or a doctor/physician? If you're not, then you wouldn't know anything about both careers, and that makes you a demagogue. Nice pic, though. Enjoy your weekend.

@LoreLodge Also, if you're doing more Bible stuff, make one about Ezekiel that will convince me that it's *not* an alien abduction, because it reads to me a lot like an alien abduction... 2/2

@LoreLodge Watching your stream from last week. TBH, I'm torn about Tartaria, but all the stuff I've seen about it has nothing to do with Jews. Armoured Skeptic made some pretty fun videos about it his "history is a lie" p/l. 1/2

@twobitsprite42 @ComicDaveSmith Everywhere the US has gone recently--Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Syria--has gotten worse. It's so consistent that you'd think it was the plan all along.

The lesson of WW1, Iraq, Libya and countless other wars, is that toppling a regime can lead to one that’s much worse. So many people demonstrated that they haven’t learned that lesson this morning, even when the regime in question has the largest nuclear arsenal in world history.

@GregUtas @ComicDaveSmith Hussein was a murderous dictator, but at least he kept Iraq secular and held the Islamic State at bay - and the US killed more Iraqis in the invasion than Hussein did in his entire reign.

@GregUtas @ComicDaveSmith TBH, I'm not in favor of authoritarianism, but I do think that benevolent dictatorship is preferable to cronyist oligarchy. The problem is with the "benevolent" part. I figure truly benevolent dictators come along once a century or so. Aurelius, Washington, Pinochet, etc.
