Yesterday, I was trying to enter a shop, and was about to say “excuse me” to a little girl when her mom turned to her and gently said “Make some room so your neighbor can come through.” And I thought that was such a lovely way to refer to another human instead of just saying something like “that guy” or “that lady” or “that person.” Just wanted to share!
