Perspective from @jaebersole1, tx CLO and former SEC Senior Counsel, on what the Nasdaq approval actually changes: "The SEC's approval of Nasdaq's tokenized settlement framework is a meaningful step. Tokenization in this framework is an optional transfer rail layered into existing DTCC infrastructure—not a separate settlement system. The real unlock for tokenized markets is not as a configuration for a traditional securities trade. It is replacing the settlement and recording system to put blockchain at its core, rather than as an optional layer still reliant on traditional settlement. That is a longer road. It is also the only one that changes the architecture."

This is a monumental moment for the industry. The SEC and CFTC just delivered the harmonized regulatory clarity builders and investors have been waiting years for. Clear lines. Clear rules. For the first time, a coherent framework that addresses how federal securities laws actually apply to crypto assets. tx was built with this framework in mind. As TX refines its product direction, which area most interests you?

For anyone uncertain about the direction of TX, let me be clear: this transition was the unlock. It positioned us not simply to follow the wave of tokenization, but to lead it. Crypto is becoming the embedded infrastructure of value transfer in society. Tokenization is how real-world value will move on-chain as seamlessly as information moves across the internet. This is an emerging reality, no longer a distant idea. And while many will speak about that future, only a small number of companies are truly building for it. TX is one of them. How many crypto companies have a full tokenization technology stack, access to proper regulatory infrastructure in the United States with sights set on additional jurisdictions, a team of strong blockchain developers alongside former regulators and TradFi professionals, VC support, and products in testing that will reshape how people invest? Not many. I believe with full conviction that this pivot positioned us for the opportunity ahead. We know what needs to be done to achieve long-term success. Our products need to ship. Attracting liquidity must be an unrelenting effort. We need to create faster, more seamless access points into our ecosystem. Our economics and utility must be evaluated with the discipline and rigor of sound monetary policy, while we use the tools at our disposal to maintain steady growth. We need to expand our user base far beyond our legacy projects. And we need to engage more directly with our community so people can see clearly what we are building and where we are going. Our team is made up of bold, visionary innovators who approach problem-solving with tenacity and persistence, and who move forward with purpose. Friday's token merger marked the start of an important new chapter for our company. From the beginning, we have believed our business and community would be stronger united as one.
