@jasonkredline @TXSTgameday Texas State won the bubas cup in the sun belt numerous times. We got a bad wrap because of football struggling for so long. Valid. Yet, I think the goal is to be a more national brand, and the sun belt was going to stay regional.

Am I taking crazy pills? The Sun Belt is better off with Texas State than without Texas state. That doesn’t mean Texas state has done well over their time overall in the Sun Belt, but there’s been a nice trajectory for that school recently. Am I missing something?

JMU’s third time was the largest crowd in Gameday history. There may be things holding Texas St. back from hosting, but I don’t think it’s rivals or student body.

The SOS is better than some big 12 teams as most the pac has strong out of conference schedules (while the “power” conferences are weakening their ooc). Just win!

I’ve also seen UNLV in these predictions. Not really understanding the love on the new Mountain West - the quality of teams left in the league, whoever wins that conference would likely have to be 11-1 or 12-0 to even get a sniff.
