@mtaibbi The current Taibbi spends most of his day fear mongering over Mamdani and zero time criticizing actual socialism like the massive military budget. It doesn't get more ideological.

I love how many people are revealing their inability to read with comments like this. None of the articles I wrote about firms like Goldman were ideological critiques of “capitalism.” My sources were nearly all other Wall Street actors! The issues with Goldman and other banks were about cheating, specifically with the aid of a corrupt state — getting the SEC to step in and ban financial shorts, dumping negative assets at par on the state, getting a commercial bank holding company charter from the Fed in the middle of a Sunday night despite being ineligible (they weren’t a commercial bank but needed emergency lending to avoid bankruptcy), using inside information to bet against your clients, being able to borrow more cheaply thank regional banks thanks to an implied bailout, and so on. These pieces weren’t any kind of celebration of free markets, but they weren’t a tirade against private enterprise either. Smh
I'm not mad I actually think it's funny@herr_naphta

@mtaibbi I like that now your ideology is to maximize the number of things that Goldman Sachs can jam its blood funnel into.

@mtaibbi It's interesting how Matt selectively points out the nutjobs who are critical of Israel. I'm sure it's a coincidence that he leaves out the delusional Ben Shapiro and the sociopaths at The FP.

@mtaibbi Mentioning the future added to the list of things Mamdani can't mention without Taibbi having a Soviet era PTSD episode.

The trigger warning for factual truth is needed because media audiences have become conditioned to expect the movementspeak term "sex assigned at birth."
Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley

Before reporting on the transgender case, NBC actually gave an effective trigger warning that it would be quoting the court in the use of terms like "biological male" and "biological female." tinyurl.com/fezze98u This is how the press becomes a parody of itself.

By his own description Jews are a defining feature of his worldview. He wrote "I sometimes refer to the western ruling class itself as the Judaeo-bourgeois class" in his manifesto advocating the murder of this group. It's bizarre that you choose to misrepresent this.
Michael Tracey@mtracey

In this lengthy list of what he calls "Class A" targets, you and so many others feel you must hyper-fixate on the one brief reference to "Zionists," as if though it should be taken as the paramountly defining feature of his worldview. That's your brain on perpetual Israel myopia

@FurkanGozukara This is the problem with right wing anti-Zionism. The idea that the US army doesn't do this is a joke. Only in the recent Signalgate scandal the administration was discussing bombing a building once a Houthi visits his girlfriend. They all belong in the Hague.

🚨 WTF?! Theologian JD Hall exposes the Zionist regime's terrifying AI assassination program called "Daddy's Home." He confirms the IDF intentionally waits for targets to enter their houses to systematically murder them alongside their entire families! Pure state terrorism!
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

🚨 DISGUSTING: JD Hall exposes a horrific IDF war crime. He confirms Israeli soldiers were caught on camera brutally sodomizing a prisoner, causing massive internal organ damage! The Zionist regime then deported the victim to Gaza to completely block him from testifying!

Im really looking forward to having to pass political litmus tests on foreign policy issues to get coffee in America. We’ve gone too long allowing just anyone to buy stuff
border collie herder@1342runner

@mtaibbi Yeah. The world would be a much better place if more people were accepting of genocide. If we let a little coffee shop stand up against genocide, it could be only a matter of time before politicians do something to stop genocide.

This is the purest illustration of the delusional Jewish supremacy at the heart of Zionism. They literally think the whole world centers on them and must obey them.

.@Coldxman to @PeterBeinart on turning Israel-Palestine into a binational state: “The very likely consequence… would be an extremely bloody civil war…. It's intellectually lazy to assume that the right principle—like we live by in America—would lead to good results.” Beinart argues the opposite: Denying millions of Palestinians political representation is the more dangerous path.
