I just sponsored @boshen_c. Dude’s contributing more to js ecosystem than anyone right now. Go sponsor your open source dependencies! github.com/sponsors/Boshe…

@tyleroakleaf Feel free to go Ham .. I’m usually very open to anything that improves things.. the surface area is thin enough that most work is around improving internal plumbing.. it’s mostly vite and nitro doing the real hardcore work

@ThePrimeagen @mattpocockuk Yea, like if he’s using this to open a pizza parlor then a server running typescript will almost certainly burn all the pizza. What an idiot to assume the problem space was a standard crud web app
English

@mattpocockuk sincere question
how do you have a stack picked out before you even know what you are going to build?
English

@teej_dv If you want the internet to forget you’ll need to do something more substantive.
English

quick question: why is this getting bookmarks??

Dreaming of the day I can do this with my own coffee beans

@ericnormand Don’t let the jerks get you down. Grokking Simplicity is the best programming book I’ve read. I buy it to give away to coworkers. World’s a slightly better place for your contribution
English

Well now I'm sad. 😔
If you read it, did you have to "fight through" Grokking Simplicity? Was it too long? Tedious?
If not, let me know! I hear it takes 100 positive reviews to counteract one negative one.

This just made my day. I just finished quite disappointed Grokking Simplicity by @ericnormand (see my Amazon review). When I fought through 600 pages, I not only once wished that "Concise @unclebobmartin" would write about the same topic.

@kentcdodds Correlation ≠ causation.
We generally regulate where markets already aren’t doing what we want.

@adamwathan If you’re listening/playing music in there get some good acoustic treatment. More than you think you need. 2-6” thick rigid fiberglass kind, not foam. Looks like you have a good ceiling for it too. You’ll be amazed the difference it makes, even for concentration.
English

@kyleshevlin Move to the woods. Pretend technology, politics and most other aspects of outside civilization don’t exist. Play acting capitalism will be as pointless as FarmVille
English

@NotMyAgile Clearly you have never met “the programmers who started it”. I’d classify all of those that I have met as introverts, though introverts who manage their introversion very well.
English

Introverts hate pair programming and loathe team programming. The programmers who started it were all extroverts. Most devs in the early days were. These are just facts.

@adamwathan Then how do you choreograph with the pyrotechnics?
